Air Force Global Strike Command Hypersonics Assessment
Challenge ended
Description
Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) is seeking industry partners to conduct studies in a phased-approach to help define requirements in the study area of Air-Launched Supersonic/Hypersonic Weapon effectiveness.
Overall Objective
Industry partners are invited to propose statements of work and an overall cost to investigate weapon employment/performance against various implementations of foreign Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS) and consider all aspects of the IADS kill chain.
Problem Statement
How do hypersonic capabilities can be used to defeat foreign Air Defense Systems for Air Force Global Strike Command. The initial studies will be conducted at or below SECRET/NOFORN, but may require Intelligence Community (IC) discussions at TS/SCI. The contractor will work cooperatively with AFGSC to support the definition of requirements and detailed goals of the assessments. The contractor will work with NASIC and MSIC to ensure an understanding of threat capabilities and employment. The contractor will use the latest available representation of Scenario 2.1 and authoritative threat models. The Government will provide existing blue supersonic/hypersonic vehicle models/trajectories, foreign threat models, and Scenario 2.1 laydowns.
