AFGSC - Advanced Unmanned Systems, Sensors, Fuels / Energy, and Counter-Threat Innovation through ONIX OTA Partnership
Active challenge
Description
INDOPACOM, PACAF, and AFGSC face urgent mission challenges requiring adaptable UAS with improved sensing, endurance, and survivability. Current platforms face SWaP limitations, logistics strain from fuel supply, and growing threats from adversary UAS. The DoD must accelerate prototyping of sensors, alternate fuels, and counter-UAS capabilities to maintain operational dominance.
Overall Objective
The government seeks to prototype and validate UAS platforms equipped with advanced sensor suites, miniaturized air data systems, and alternate fuel propulsion, with options to expand into mid-range missile development and counter-UAS capabilities.
Problem Statement
INDOPACOM, PACAF, and AFGSC require a UAS capability that leverages alternative fuel propulsion systems and have the ability to perform C-UAS missions as well as having alternative payloads for kinetic and non-kinetic solutions,
